News Alert, Iran-Israel tensions: Jordan closes its airspace in the face of the “dangerous” situation in the Middle East
Jordan announced on Saturday that it had temporarily closed its airspace in the face of “rising dangers” in the Middle East where tension is at its height between neighboring Israel and Iran.
In a statement, the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission said it had decided “to temporarily close Jordanian airspace to all aircraft (…) from 8:00 p.m. GMT, i.e. 11:00 p.m. local time” on Saturday and until new order. This decision “will be reviewed regularly depending on developments.”
